Debon-aires Girls Drill Team 1955-1973
The Debon-aires Girls Drill Team was founded by VFW 388 Ladies Auxiliary in November 1955, the post began co-sponsoring in 1961. They performed at parades and ceremonies throughout the state winning many awards and honors. They won a first place award for their performance at the 1964 VFW National Convention in Cleveland Ohio. The Debon-aires were disbanded in 1973.
